Custom fashion, thoughtfully made in Phoenix

Meet the designer

OBA.

Omolara Omotinugbon, aka OBA, is the founder and creative designer of Comforter Fashion.

01 / The beginning

Omolara Omotinugbon aka OBA

Fashion has always been part of my story.

My love for fashion began in Ibadan, Nigeria, where I grew up surrounded by beautiful fabrics, vibrant colors, and African prints. As a young girl, I loved hand-sewing clothes for my dolls, and that early curiosity eventually grew into a lifelong passion for fashion and design.

After moving to the United States and making Arizona home, I continued developing my craft and building what is now Comforter Fashion.

My African heritage continues to influence my designs, while modern silhouettes, luxurious fabrics, and detailed finishes bring each piece to life.

Made for moments that matter.

Today, Comforter Fashion specializes in prom, bridal, traditional attire called asoebi, evening wear, special-occasion pieces, and custom designs created for women who want something distinctive and personal.

Comforter Fashion is about more than creating beautiful clothing. It is about helping women feel confident, elegant, beautiful, and unforgettable.

04 / The ambition

Growing as a designer & entrepreneur

Building the brand, growing the business.

Building Comforter Fashion has also inspired me to grow as a businesswoman.

In October 2025, I completed the six-month We Rise Business Accelerator, graduating on January 28, 2026. The experience strengthened my knowledge of business strategy, marketing, leadership, financial planning, and sustainable growth.

I am also pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Business at the University of Phoenix, combining business education with my years of experience in fashion.

As Comforter Fashion continues to grow, my vision is to build a brand that connects my African heritage with contemporary fashion while creating memorable pieces for women in the United States and beyond.

A personal note from the founder

We do not make designs,
we make statements.

Every woman brings her own story. My work is to help her express it—with colour, confidence, and a piece that feels entirely her own.
